How much does an allotment cost?
The cost of renting a plot is determined largely by the size of the plot. We still use the traditional measure of a rod.
1 rod is approximately 25 square metres.
The smallest plots are 2 rods and the largest 10 rods.
Our annual charges per rod from 1/10/2026:
Resident of Spelthorne £10.00
Over 60 resident of Spelthorne £6.00
Living outside Spelthorne £13.00
Over 60 living outside Spelthorne £7.80
There is also an additional £3.50 annual charge to cover membership of the National Allotments Association
